A long-term plan on the development of the 10-mile McCart Avenue corridor, stretching from Interstate 20 to Burleson, is set to be presented to Fort Worth City Council next week. The McCart Avenue HOTT Corridor Project looks to invest in a long-term vision for the corridor and is part of the city’s 2022 bond program. The plan recommends real-time traffic systems, pedestrian and transit improvements, shared-use paths, fiber ducts, intersection enhancements, zoning changes for mixed-use and park improvements.
